The Property Standardisation Group
This group, comprising four of Scotland’s big legal firms, aims to standardise documentation commonly used in property transactions to save time and manage risk. To that end, this innovative site offers style letters of obligation, due diligence questionnaire, completion checklist and SDLT documentation. Plus, useful links to property related sites.
Arden Chambers
This set specialise in housing law and related issues: the site gives access to a small collection of writings on housing topic by members of the chambers and most usefully, a complete set of the “eflashes”; accurate summaries of recent decisions of the English courts on housing law issues (also available in a free email service).
Better Renting Scotland
This government site, aimed principally at small private landlords, nonetheless contains useful and information and links regarding the law affecting private landlords and tenants.
